Inconel 600

Inconel 600 is a precipitation hardened nickel-based alloy that has extremely high yield, tensile and creep-rupture properties at temperatures up to 1300°F (704°C). The age-hardening response of Inconel 600 allows for annealing and welding without spontaneous hardening during heating and cooling. Nickel Alloy 600 has excellent weldability compared to nickel-based high-temperature alloys that are hardened by aluminum and titanium.

Inconel 600 Product Advantages

Inconel 600 metal is often used in harsh environments where the success of the part or component requires extremely high heat and corrosion resistance. Inconel 600 has the following advantages:

1.High yield strength

2.Excellent high temperature tensile and creep-rupture properties

3.Excellent weldability

4.Won't spontaneously harden

5.Excellent corrosion resistance

Inconel 600 Applications

Nickel Alloy Inconel 600 has many different industrial applications, some of which include:

1.Jet engine components

2.Gas turbines

3.Aerospace

4.Plastic injection molding tools

5.High-speed airframe parts

6.High-temperature bolts and fasteners
